About Delhi Police Recruitment :-

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to organize an open competitive examination for the recruitment of Constables (Executive) – both male and female – in the Delhi Police. This recruitment drive is in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) established between the Delhi Police and the Staff Selection Commission. Importantly, candidates hailing from all regions across the country will be eligible to apply for these positions. The key highlights of this recruitment initiative are outlined below.

About Age Limit & Relaxation :-

Applicants must meet certain age criteria to be eligible for the recruitment. As of July 1, 2021, candidates should fall within the age range of 18 to 25 years. This means that individuals should have been born no earlier than July 2, 1995, and no later than July 1, 2002.

Permissible relaxations in upper age limit for different categories are as under:

About Educational Qualification of Delhi Police Constable :-

10+ 2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized Board, on the closing date of receipt of online applications.

Relax-able up to 11th pass only for:
(i) Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc. of
Delhi Police only.
(ii) Sons of serving, deceased, retired police personnel including Multi Tasking Staff of Delhi Police.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT
Candidate must possess a valid driving license for LMV (Motor cycle or Car) for the post of Constable (Executive) Male in Delhi Police as on the date of PE&MT.
Note: Learner License is not acceptable.

Candidates who have not acquired the essential educational qualification as stipulated date will not be eligible and need not apply.

About Application Fee :-

The payment of the application fee should be made in the amount of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only). Candidates have the option to make the fee payment through various modes. Online applications can be paid using SBI Challan, net banking, as well as credit and debit cards. All these modes of payment will be accepted for the convenience of the applicants.

• Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, and Scheduled Tribes and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fee, as per rules/instructions of Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.
• Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
• Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to 09-09-2021 (2330Hours). However, candidates who wish to make the cash payment through challan of SBI, may make the payment in cash at the Branches of SBI within the working hours of bank up to 14-09-2021 provided the challan has been generated by them before 11-09-2021 (2330 Hours).
